Autumn Olive - Amber (3-4ft)

Autumn Olive is a beautiful ornamental plant that has fragrant white blossoms followed by large Golden Berries. 
The fruit is sweet, tart and astringent. It's great for fresh eating in sweet or savory dishes, made into wine, pies, jams and baked goods. It also pairs well with yogurt and ice cream. When cooked Autumn Olives pair well with pork chops, chilled soups and dessert. Traditional uses include made into wine, as medicine, teas, and jams. 
Nutritionally speaking they're high in vitamin A(immune system, growth and reprodu tion), E (good for skin), C (fights off and prevents colds) and have a high content of lycopene (bone health, anti heart disease and anti-cancer properties). 
They have nitrogen fixing abilities are hardy, vigorous and will thrive almost anywhere. 
Autumn Olive are believed to have gotten their name due to the similarity to the Mediterranean Olive Tree even though the Autumn Olive is more similar to a berry. 
Also great for wildlife and birds. Great for controlling soil erosion. 
*is known as being invasive in some areas. However, a lot of people agree, that the benefit of Autumn Olives far outweighs its aggressive growth habit.
