Heartnut Tree (Seedling)
These trees produce an abundance of tasty heart-shaped nuts that are sweeter than other walnuts and lack the bitter aftertaste. They are sensitive to spring frosts for nut production, so they are best planted in a sheltered location.
For about 2 weeks in Autumn, nuts will naturally drop to the ground. Make sure to pick them up within a few days or they will begin to rot.
Store Nuts in their shell in a dark, airy place to to preserve them.
