Northline Saskatoon Berry

Northline Saskatoon Berry

Locally known as a Chuckley Pear this bluish purple berry will make you laugh in delight as you bite into its sweet flesh. It's also great in pies, jams, preserves etc. The frangrant showy flowers add aesthetic charm to the bush in the Spring and its deep green foilage which turns fiery orange in the Fall, making it a great addition to a garden.

Northline grows in an upright fashion and reaches about 2.5m tall, this making for an ideal u-pick bush. Saskatoons by nature are slow growing, and while they will bear fruit in 3-5 years, it can take up to 15 years for a full crop.
